Delicious foods great prices could get noisy inside after all the bars connected to the restaurant sort of but very cozy inside too.. great for date night drinks good food
Just dropped in, they were completely booked, but recommended the bar seating area. I don't normally like bar stools. But we gave it a try. I won the Urban Fairies of Staten Island Raffle for Jimmy Max one free meal per months for a year. Never been prior to today. Jessica at the bar and the other lady bartender handled a busy crow with expertise & experience, made everyone feel welcome. We enjoyed some drinks and had great food! Thank you all! We'll be back!
I've been to this place before with a lifestyles class. For the First time I've learned how to make pizza here and for the second time i was with another group of people from a different location there. Also it was someone's birthday today.🙂🍕👍 The Place looked like it hasn't changed since I've been there but I don't mind. It had a good dining area but I still don't know if they deliver. They do have a website but I don't know if it works. I might have to look this place up and see if they do delivery on their website if they do maybe I might come back to this place with some other group or call or order online. The food was delicious and their entrees were good. 👍 🙂
Staple of Staten Island. Bar but you can bring your kids.so the Rangers are in the playoffs and we decided to do some take out. Ready right before puck drop. Food and service never disappoints, if you’re going on a game night go early for a bar seat but tables have Tv’s as well. Try everything you can here.
One of the few taverns I go to that serve food and its much more than " bar food" . Came for fundraiser dinner to support Travis 4th of July Parade and it was excellent. Haven't had a bad meal here and the pizza is "top shelf" also.
Jimmy Max has always been a Staten Island staple to me, but I recently hosted a first party for my daughter there and can now double down on that sentiment. :-) Erin was so wonderful to work with leading up to the party. She was quick to respond via email, answered all of my questions, and sat with us in person to sort out final details. The day of the event, Erin and the rest of the staff worked so hard to make sure that everyone was happy throughout the day. It’s the first party I’ve hosted where I felt relaxed from start to finish - and that’s all thanks to the staff at Jimmy Max. The food was delicious and plentiful! The space was beautiful! And the staff was an a+ team! Highly recommend for a party of any kind!
New Pictures Terrific atmosphere and extremely friendly service. We do not often have the opportunity to visit this area, so we were excited to go. We had a special event for my son’s school and even though the place was jam packed due to games, the staff and service did not skip a beat. The food is really great and the bar is very popular. Highly Recommend
I attended a graduation party today and was so impressed by the food, party room setup and most especially.. the service!! I’ll definitely be considering Jimmy Max for my own parties in the future!
I can’t say enough good things about Jimmy Max’s. Walking in on a Tuesday night for their gluten-free Tuesday menu was just the start. The food, Absolutely amazing, gluten-free pizza, gluten-free mozzarella sticks and a pumpkin cheesecake that’s to die for (shout out JoAnna’s Desserts!) But what really makes it special is the energy. The owner, Jimmy, is one of the warmest people I’ve ever met. Even on a busy night, he sat down, chatted with me for a good 20 minutes, shared his story, and made me feel like part of the crew. And it’s not just Jimmy. His entire team - Erin, Izzy, Juliana, Jah, Ronnie - were all just as welcoming. I’m live in NYC, and I’m seriously planning multiple trips back just for this experience. wearing my jimmy max sweatshirt everywhere!
I used to order takeout from Jimmy Max all the time—their appetizers and pizza were always delicious. I don’t live five minutes away anymore, but I recently went back and was blown away, especially by their gluten-free options. I have a daughter with celiac disease, and on Staten Island the options are usually very limited—pizza, pasta, or maybe a burger bun. Not at Jimmy Max. Their gluten-free menu is extensive. My daughter hadn’t had a rice ball in over six years, and the one she had here was excellent. The GF BBQ ribs were amazing, and they even had gluten-free mozzarella sticks—which is almost unheard of. Everything we tried was delicious. For dinner, she had gluten-free chicken parm with penne vodka. I had the chicken rollatini, which was outstanding. Dessert didn’t disappoint either—my other two daughters and I shared the crumb cake and Mississippi mud cake, and my oldest had a gluten-free brownie cake ( we took a few bites before i remembered to take a photo). All fantastic. What really makes Jimmy Max a must-try isn’t just the food—it’s the service and care. Our waiter, Matthew, was attentive and extremely mindful of my daughter’s condition. The wait staff truly worked as a team. Everyone backed each other up—clearing empty plates, refilling soda and water glasses, and even replacing silverware with fresh settings without being asked. That level of attentiveness really stood out and made the whole experience feel smooth and welcoming. The owner, Jimmy, even came over to our table and shared his story and why he’s so committed to offering safe options for guests with allergies. It’s rare to find a restaurant on S.I. that truly takes food allergies seriously. Being able to go out to eat with peace of mind—knowing your child is safe—is priceless. Highly recommend Jimmy Max.
